Module Seven
 Sampling and Synthesis

This module will teach you to record and edit audio sound bites
which can be used as loops in a track or edited to create a library of new sounds or original textures.

These sounds can be triggered via MIDI and used to play lines of
your sequenced piece of music to make your production sound professional.

You will learn about both hardware and software samplers and be shown how sound fonts/patches are created and how you can synthesise new sounds, drum sets etc.

You will also be taught about sound origins, creating samples,
sample rates, resolutions, editing, truncating, cross fading, looping, time-stretching, velocity switching, key groups, layering and
filtering.
