Module Six
Audio Editing, Hard Disk Recording and Automation
In this module, you will cover recording and editing
audio signals
on Logic Audio, Cubase, Reason or Pro Tools. We will show you how to send,
receive, record and edit audio signals, drum loops, vocals, samples or
riffs.
We will cover the most important features including
cutting,
pasting, time stretching, the time machine, looping, the audio
mixer, EQ and FX, and why you should not use normalising.
With recent advancements in the software it is now possible to automate
virtually any parameter within Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools
and Reason. As a result you will look at how to set up mixer automation,
edit fader/parameter movements and pros/cons of software and hardware
automation.
